A quick escape turned sour

The efficient check-in process made us feel welcomed after a long trip. The friendly staff brightened our arrival despite the circumstances.

Unfortunately, the room was a disappointment. it felt tired and unclean, with a lingering smell that made it hard to relax.

the toilet flush was a bit weak. but the room was clean and had a microwave and fridge. the water was hot with great pressure. plus it felt safe with all the security cameras around.

Checked in after a long drive and appreciated the friendly service from Mildred at the desk. The room could benefit from renovations as it showed signs of age and needed better cleanliness. However, having a Denny's right across the parking lot was a lifesaver for food cravings!

During my stay, I loved the short distance to Bilbo Baggins, offering amazing seafood just a 1 km walk, and the nearby Shreveport Dog Park was perfect for a relaxing stroll with easy access from the hotel, making my weekend explorations super enjoyable. while the overall experience was satisfactory, I wish there had been a bit more breakfast options to kickstart my day.

Notably, a used hair band on the floor gave me pause about the cleaning standards. The noise from the freeway was disruptive, making it hard to rest after a long drive. Outside, litter and debris scattered about the grounds created an unkempt atmosphere. I had expected more from a place that allowed dogs.
